November 21st, 2005 - Life will never be the same for Allan and Patty Leonard, as they have lost their 22-year-old daughter Jessica in a tragic automobile accident. Allan, better known to his many industry friends as the "Captain", is a well known and highly respected member of the online casino community. We at the APCW were shocked and deeply saddened by this news. Yesterday afternoon, Allan somehow found the strength to post at the Casino Affiliate Programs message boards and wrote that "It feels like our whole world has crumbed... In our lives this is the worst." The details surrounding this awful event have not been published, however the huge outpouring of love from the gaming industry has been phenomenal. Allan and his family, including wife Patty and daughter Melissa, are loved by so many, especially myself. It is just sick that such an event has to happen at all... and the fact that the Leonard family is so loved for their friendly, helpful, generous, and caring ways just makes it that much worse.
